Camp Pontiac Intern 

    While at Camp I was a dance inten in the dance department of Camp Pontiac. We had around 4-5 calsses every day. The class levels varied from beginner to advance. The kids would come in with their age division for classes. The kids who really enjoyed coming to the dance studio had the option of picking selectives and private lessons. 

    The dance department has two dance competitions every summer. Auditions were held and teams were picked. There were three teams in total. Two teams compeated against each other at a Camp Pontic Showcase. The third team went out of camp to compeate against other camps aroud the area. There were also two soloists that went to the out of camp competition. The competitive team and the soloists all won!! I was so proud of them. 

     Teaching wasnt new to me but teaching unexperiaced kids all day was new to me. It was harder to teach the kids who had no intrest or technique at all even though the class was easy to plan. I learned a lot about teaching while at camp and it was quite an experiance.
